Description

PSC 099 is a new parthenocarpic cucumber variety to be added to Pulsar Seeds’ portfolio for the Fall-Winter segment planting. The plants are strong and vigorous with a high number of side shoots on their lower part. These side shoots produce 3-4 fruits each. The average number of fruits per node on the main stem is 2-3. The number of side shoots on the upper part of the plant is considered to be low and they are short in length. This variety has a good fruit filling ability during cold season and has a high tolerance to low temperatures. Fruits are green to dark green in color with good ribbness, firmness and a high uniformity. The average fruit length is 14-16 cm. Resistance/Tolerance: PM
