ORSO is a new sugar baby type watermelon variety in the large fruit size category having an average fruit weight of 12-13 kg. The fruits have a very uniform round shape and have a very dark green to black color. The flesh is very dark red in color and have a very good texture and concentrated sweet taste with a Brix level of 13?Bx. Plant vigor is high providing very good leaf cover over the fruits.
