Description

Lavita is an indeterminate tomato variety with mid-early maturity. Plants have good vigor bearing highly uniform globe-oblate fruits with good ribbness and firmness. This variety has very good heat tolerance, it is fast growing and produces very high yield of deep red colored fruits. Number of fruits per cluster is 5-7. The average fruit weight will vary for this variety depending on the season and location it is planted. It will give fruits of around 200-230 grams in dry and hot weather during Spring-Summer. Alternatively, the fruits will have an average weight of 250-270 grams during long humid seasons, starting September, in coastal areas. Resistance/Tolerance: F1, F2, ToMV, TYLCV
