Description

Janaya is a new italian type melon that was added to PULSAR SEEDS’ catalogue with a main season maturity. It has vigorous and sturdy plants that will keep producing for a long period of time and give the melon fruits a very good leaf cover. Janaya has a very good heat tolerance and will continue giving off around 4-6 highly uniform oval-elongated fruits per plant throughout the season. These fruits have a very good attachment to plants and have a good orange color outer skin at maturity with light green to green rinds and a dense netting. The flesh has a deep orange color, great taste and crunchiness and a small internal cavity. The sugar content is around 14?Bx and the average weight is around 2.5-3 Kg.
